At the new system we aim to keep the applicant’s account\user profile permanently, create a system that is fully manageable by the admission team, and adhere to the best practices of the MVC design patterns. Overall this project is about making the admission process smooth and hassle free by providing rich UI features and modules like program setup, admission, admin dashboard and much more.
Some of the major goals of the new system:
The ability for Applicants to log in at any time in the future and find their information intact.
Allow the applicants to apply again in a different semester, or possibly in the same semester for another program if she\he wasn’t accepted.
Complete integration with a 3rd party system to enhance the admission experience and processes.
Provide a flexible dashboard and reporting engine that allows back-end users to create and generate reports as per needed.
